After finishing setting up WordPress on Amazon EC2 and using CloudFront as a CDN for W3 Total Cache plugin, now I have some new debates on the functionality of my Traveling Wordpress blog. WordPress introduces some new great features, including: Custom Post and Taxonomy. My blog is about Traveling. In my blog I want to write posts about me traveling in several areas in my country and write reviews about hotels and attractions.

Optimizing images for Google image bot by using Amazon CloudFront
I've created an Amazon S3 bucket and attached CloudFront to it. Now after I've use CloudFront to create distributions of my S3 bucket, I want to upload images on it. I use CloudFront as a CDN for my gallery website. The problem is that I am afraid that my images won't be indexed by Google image bot due to the fact that it exists on a subdomain, instead inside a folder under my main domain.

WordPress Permalinks structure for Speed, Scalability and Caching
I've installed Wordpress on Amazon EC2 with EBS attached. When I came to optimize Wordpress for scalability, I wanted to make a few adjustments. One of the things that I wanted to do is to make sure that my blog can scale using the permalinks that I wanted to use. In this post I want to discuss about WordPress permalinks and how I can define the best structure to help me get the best page loading speed, scalability and better caching. I don't really interested for answers regarding SEO right now, although I am taking that into consideration too.
Optimizing Wordpress for fast loading speed with CDN and Caching
On my journey to optimize Wordpress for the fastest loading speed, I have found many interesting articles that will help me speed up my Wordpress blog. The first thing I needed to do is to use a light but SEO optimized theme. Thesis theme is the best Wordpress theme for that purpose IMHO. I've purchased it a few months ago, so I've downloaded the latest Thesis theme 1.8 version (the latest as for the time writing this post).
W3 Total Cache with 4 CNAME using Amazon CloudFront CDN
I will probably need your help here regarding a CDN issue that I think I will encounter. I've created a Wordpress blog on Amazon EC2+EBS. I have decided to use W3 Total Cache in order to enjoy the option for distributing my static content using Amazon CloudFront.
